About Melaney Loar

Melaney Loar, Director of Operations at Rockwall's longest-standing and largest independently owned real estate firm, is dedicated to helping Regal Agents build their business. A three time recipient of Regal's prestigious "Make It Happen Award," Melaney was voted The Cissi Scott Most Valuable Player by the brokerage in 2021, all a testament to her commitment and excellence to Regal and their agents. 

Prior to her career in real estate, Melaney forged a successful 12-year career in sports marketing, where she managed sponsorship contracts between AT&T and various entertainment venues, NCAA athletics departments, and MLB and NHL teams. During this time she honed her skills in understanding and fulfilling clients' priorities and needs.

Melaney holds a Business Degree from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas, where she excelled both academically and athletically as a member of Sterling's basketball team. She was inducted into the Sterling College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020. Melaney furthered her education by obtaining a M.Ed. in Sports Administration from Wichita State University. Despite loving her upbringing in Kansas, Melaney has happily embraced Texas and Rockwall as her home.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Melaney is a devoted mother to triplets and an active member of the Rockwall community. As a member of the Rockwall Area Chamber Board of Directors, Melaney is deeply committed to giving back. She shares her life with her husband, Edward Loar, who shares her love for Rockwall growing up in The Shores community.
